This year, beautyBOUTIQUE by Shoppers Drug Mart hosted their 9th Annual TIFF Suite, once again in partnership with Entertainment One’s TIFF Lounge at the Intercontinental Hotel in the heart of Downtown Toronto. From Canadian editors, influencers, tastemakers, television hosts and radio personalities, I was fortunate enough to get dolled up at their complimentary beauty lounge to get red carpet ready.

The TIFF Suite ran from September 6, 2018 to September 9, 2018 via appointment only. Special appearances were made by Global Makeup Artist, Lori Taylor Davis for Smashbox and LA-based Steve Kassajikian for Urban Decay. Simone Otis, Award Winning Makeup Artist & Spokesperson for beautyBOUTIQUE by Shoppers Drug Mart was also providing makeup services. Manicures by TIPS Nail Artist & SDM Spokesperson, Melissa Forrest used QUO by ORLY. Before getting our makeup done, skin rejuvenation treatments were provided by Silk’n using their Titan device. St. Tropez were also offering custom skin finishing treatments by New York based Celebrity Tanning Expert, Sophie Evans.
Snacks, breakfast & lunch were provided, with yummy food from the Intercontinental Hotel! This included but was not limited to fresh fruit, cinnamon buns, various salads, sandwiches, etc. Mmmm. Once we were dolled up, there were also a cute selection of wall decals (like the one above) where we could take our selfies in front of.
My red carpet look was provided by a talented beautyBOUTIQUE makeup artist named Danny! He used QUO lashes for my falsies. For the makeup, he used Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer, Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Stingray, Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Spirit, Convertible Color Blush and Heaven’s Hue Highlighter for a nice glow! For face powder, he used the brand Rodial. I skipped the lips because I figured I would be eating afterwards anyway.SHOP THIS LOOK :
After being pampered, we all received a massive goody bag! (Thank you!) I’m most excited to try the Urban Decay Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette. It has some really pretty colours that would be great for everyday makeup, as well as more glam!
