So I had done this look previously for a FASHION Magazine Beauty Panel Challenge a while back. But this time I decided to re-create it in the form of a YouTube video as a Makeup Tutorial. I also switched up a few products to focus on some MAKE UP FOR EVER products within the mix! Please enjoy the video featured above!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Skin Equalizer *
Available in 10 specially designed primers that target and perfect all skin types, tones and textures to create the perfect canvas. Addressing issues such as oil/shine, large pores, fine lines, dryness, redness, etc. Use alone or before makeup to help it last longer.
So I used the Radiant Primer #6 in Cool Pink, which helped brighten up my complexion. The formula blends seamlessly into my skin creating a smooth canvas. I also used the Mattifying Primer #1 on my eyelids, mainly because they are extremely oily. This was probably meant more for your face/T-zone though, but thought I’d give it a go anyway. Not sure if the eyeliner had some trouble adhering, as it was smudging a lot. Oops! On a separate occasion though, just using this alone on my face, I felt had instant gratification. It mattified my usual shiny face which is typically caused by the daily sunscreen I use.
LOVE the new packaging. Much easier to use/store in my makeup kit than the old MUFE primers. From a makeup artist perspective, these are amazing, as you can really customize depending on your client. From a consumer perspective, I’m not sure if people will be as inclined to purchase two separate primers (one for tone and one for texture), as they are a bit pricey, and it would mean having an extra step within their makeup routine.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Sculpting Duo #2 (Golden) * / MAKE UP FOR EVER Brush #156 *
Use this duo with the recommended brush to naturally accent, highlight and contour your features. This talc-free, gel-powder formula includes spherical powders and polymers to smooth and perfect skin with a silky, radiant finish.
You can definitely achieve a natural J.Lo glow with this convenient compact. More on the shimmery side, I do think I prefer my contouring to be more matte. However, these colours actually work amazing as eye shadows! The sculpting colour is slightly more orange-y, but if you use a light touch, it will lend off a fairly natural contour.
As for the blush brush, I LOVE all of the MUFE’s artisan brushes! They are so soft and so nice. Really a treat to use!
MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick #54 (Pearly Golden Pink) *
Contains exclusive pigment complex for ultra-rich colour — almost more than 50% more pigment than traditional lipstick formulas.
A creamy, high coverage, and long-lasting lipstick. I think this pink will be great for bridal season.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Stretch Mascara *
Dramatically define lashes evenly and effortlessly with smudge-proof and fast-drying properties. Formulated with Locust Tree Alginate Jelly to define & separate lashes, and Silk Protein to elongate and volumize.
The comb brush works well in separating the lashes, resulting in zero clumps. My lashes are definitely longer after use, but I find I get more volume with the MUFE Smoky Extravagant Mascara. This brush however gets even the shortest lashes (great for lower lashes) and is more precise.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Mist & Fix *
This product has been re-launched with a new formula containing O2 Skin Complex, which provides oxygenation to the skin while making it more radiant, without the shiny finish. The improved spray also moisturizes the skin with polyol. The product is alcohol-free and suitable for any skin type. This spray creates a protective shield for your makeup that is resistant to rubbing, sweating and fading.
I always use a makeup setting spray for all my makeup clients, and MUFE Mist & Fix has definitely been within my makeup kit rotation. Makeup lasts longer and won’t look so powdery/cakey after application. You can also spray it onto your makeup brushes before applying products like eye shadow to help it last longer.
